Pu-erh Tuo Cha


Yunnan black tea that is hand piled for lengthy periods to allow internal fermentation of the leaf. This process creates earthy overtones and a tea that is valued for aiding digestion. It is compressed to small nest shapes (cakes) and retains its flavor through several infusions.

Each cake perfect for a full teapot or three single infusions. The general steeping temperature is 185 – 208 degrees for 3-5 minutes.
