The top bud and stem of the spring/summer tea leaf is plucked, withered to a workable suppleness, and skillfully and gently twisted and rolled to create the pearls. The rolled pearls are then heat infused with jasmine flowers up to five times until the desired intensity is achieved. Truly a work of art!
